Game of Thrones Ascent: December 21st Build In-Depth Update

Greetings Bannermen!

snowy_gathering

As the year comes to a close and we reflect on our fortunes both good and bad, we want to say thank you for your continued support of Game of Thrones Ascent. We love this game and are grateful for all of our players.

Today’s build will be our last of the year, included in this build are some features that we thought deserved a little more in-depth exploration than our build notes normally provide. Enjoy!

New Feature: Replace/Recover All

Replace or Recover All Feature allows you to replace or restore all your dead Sworn Swords in one fell swoop. If you have more than one dead Sworn Sword, simply select the “Dead” filter from the Keep, and you’ll be presented with new Replace Or Recover All button. Clicking this button provides you with the options of restoring all your dead Sworn Swords for use immediately for Gold, or replacing all your Sworn Swords for Silver, with a 24-Hour cooldown timer until they’re available for action. For more details on how to use this new feature see the bottom of this post.

Replace or Recover All Functionality

replaceandrecoverall

What it’s for:

The Replace/Recover All functionality allows players with multiple dead Sworn Swords to replace or recover all of them in a single step.  This functionality is meant to save players time and effort.

How it works:

If you filter for ‘Dead’ Sworn Swords in the Keep, and if you have multiple dead Sworn Swords, a new button ‘Replace of Recover All’ will appear under the drop-down filter. When you select this button, an interface will be displayed that offers you two options: Replace or Recover all your dead Sworn Swords (equal to the number ‘X’ in the above graphic).

Keep in mind that the Sworn Swords displayed in the interface are only meant as examples.

Replace All will cost you an amount in Silver equal to the sum of all your dead Sworn Swords’ replacement costs (Shown as ‘ZZZZ’ in the above graphic). This option also means:
- Replaced Sworn Swords will be ready in 24 Hours
- Names will change
- Sworn Swords will not become permanent

Recover All will cost you an amount in Gold equal to the sum of all your dead Sworn Swords’ recovery costs (shown as ‘YY’ in the above graphic). This option also means:
- Replaced Sworn Swords will be ready immediately
- Stats are retained
- Names will not change
- Sworn Swords will become permanent

If you do not have enough currency for the option you select, you will be taken to the Shop to purchase additional currency.

Once you have successfully recovered or replaced your dead Sworn Swords, you will see a confirmation message that includes a ‘Return to Keep’ button.
