      4. Dilithium ship schematic purchases have had their quantity increased from 5 to 50.

      5. Credit cost for some Uncommon and Rare items has been reduced

  2. New Features

    1. Advanced Challenges

      1. On Sundays, players will now be able to run Advanced Challenges. The first Advanced Challenge is based on The United Federation and will use alien or part-alien crew.

      2. Completing these difficult away-team missions will reward new Replicator Rations.

    2. Replicator Rations

      1. Replicator Rations are a new type of item that is dropped from the Advanced Challenges. Replicator Rations may drop from other sources in the future.

      2. Replicator Rations give several times more fuel in the Replicator than items of the same rarity.

      3. Replicator Rations may be filtered for in the Replicator menu.

      4. The component previously known as Replicator Rations has been renamed to Synthesized Polymer Components.

  3. Ship Battles and PvP

    1. Commander Division rebalance

      1. IMPORTANT - this will required a disabling of the Battle Arena, which will return on THURSDAY, DECEMBER 15.

      2. The Commander Division leaderboard will be RESET with these changes.

      3. A pass on ship balance has been made for Common and Uncommon ships. These are the first steps on a comprehensive ship rebalance pass. This includes defining the archetypes and goals of each ship, better communicating how they counteract each other, and addressing concerns about some ships being less useful in the Battle Arena.

      4. The following ships have been rebalanced: Bird of Prey, Nova, Jem’Hadar Fighter, Constellation, Maquis Raider, Val Jean. These ships have significant changes to their shields, hull, and attack abilities.

        1. Constellation Class Ship: Increased Action 1 from 1 Evasion to 2 Evasion.

        2. Jem’hadar Fighter: Reduced Action 3’s cooldown from 8 to 6, increased Action 3’s duration from 8s to 10s, and removed its limit. Increased Action 2’s cooldown from 8s to 15s, increased initial cooldown from 3s to 6s, improved duration from 2s to 3s. Reduced attack speed by 20%. Reduced attack from 7 to 6. Moderately improved crit chance.

        3. Bird of Prey: Reduced Action 1’s Attack Bonus from 3 to 2. Improved base attack, shield regen, and accuracy.

        4. Val Jean: Disabled the ENG battle station. Reduced overall crit chance, and slightly reduced attack speed. Moderately reduced shield regeneration and accuracy, while improving attack power.

        5. Nova Class Ship: Reduced Action 1’s damage in stages 2 and 3, cooldown increased from 1s to 3s, and shield repair reduced by 5%. Greatly increased Hull and moderately improved attack power, slightly reduced shield regeneration.

        6. Maquis Raider: Moderately increased hull and shield regeneration. Reworked abilities to reduce cooldowns and bring actions into balance.

      5. Common and Uncommon ship abilities have had their skill icons modified (image and color) in order to provide consistent feedback and better clarity.

        1. Skills that provide Attack Power are Red

        2. Skills that provide Accuracy are Yellow

        3. Skills that provide Evasion are Blue

    2. Crew Ship Battle Ability rebalance

      1. As part of the Commander Division ship rebalance we have performed a balance pass on the Bonus Abilities of the Uncommon, Common, and Rare crew to help them better align with the ship changes.

      2. Reduced some stat bonuses of skills that provided a bonus ability in addition to their stat bonus. These skills were too powerful when compared to other skills.

      3. Reduced the initial cooldown & cooldown of limited-use skills. This should improve the usefulness of these skills, which were already limited by the number of times they could be used.

      4. Reduced values for Common crew that only provided a single bonus by 1, from 3 to 2 or 2 to 1. For example, if a common crew that only provided a 2 bonus to attack, it will now provide a 1 bonus.

      5. Crew abilities with shield regeneration penalties were incorrectly increasing shield regeneration instead of decreasing it. We have fixed this issue.

  4. Crew Changes

    1. Updated crew to no longer reference other crew member’s items: Kelby, Kruge, Boothby, Saavik, Rescuer Tucker.

    2. Updated crew to reference the correct century uniform: Ensign Mayweather, Kelby, Duelist Barclay, Commander Tucker
