The skies have cleared and the Dragon Phase has drawn to a close. As the armies of Westeros return to their homes, we are happy to announce the Regional and Superlative results.
In THE WALKING DEAD: MARCH TO WAR, you are unlikely to survive very long unless you team up with other players in groups called Communities. Smart, strong Communities devise cooperative strategies, defend each other against attack, and work together to overcome obstacles. Among these obstacles are Landmarks: points of strategic value on the Map which can be captured and controlled by Communities.
In THE WALKING DEAD: MARCH TO WAR, players primarily interact with the world from their Base or the Map. In the Base, players will create resources, heal and train Survivors, manage their Council Members, aid their Community members, and build stronger structures. On the Map, players will find and interact with allies and enemies, supplies and Landmarks.
Your work with Klingon Janeway and Advocate Kolos as well as the Romulan defector Alidar Jarok made it possible to identify the conspirators and halt what could have been a galactic bloodbath. Following your victory, Kahless himself noted that it is “thanks to your courage that the empire still stands.” Surely, your honor in now unquestionable.
Meet Amira, Disruptor Beam’s first original character introduced to the world of The Walking Dead. Amira serves as the player’s guide through both early gameplay in THE WALKING DEAD: MARCH TO WAR as well as the crowded, chaotic Washington, D.C. area. The familiar city quickly becomes a battleground of bitter rivals competing for vital resources after a horde of walkers moves in.
In order to get The Walking Dead: March to War swag at San Diego Comic-Con, you’ll need to visit the Image Comics/Skybound Entertainment booth (Booth #2729, look for Image Comics in your program). We’ve printed some limited edition trading cards featuring our striking game art, each with a redeemable code for items that will help you in the game. Each card will only be available on a certain day, so make sure to come back to Skybound all weekend to get the whole set. The cards are only available while supplies last, so stop by early.
This week’s event promises even more danger and great rewards. Hybrid Faction/Expedition Event “The Heart of the Empire” reveals the location of Chancellor Martok, whose disappearance triggered the current crisis, and he is not anywhere anyone would have expected. Before players can get to him, and the nefarious group of conspirators who have taken him from his Empire, they must thwart a plot on the life of Emperor Kahless himself.
