Expedition Event 2: Quadrilateral, New Video, and More!

The Alpha Quadrant is overrun with vehicles, species, and planets pulled from their rightful places and times by the temporal anomaly crisis. You have been tasked with investigating the feasibility of creating a stable wormhole to the Gamma Quadrant, where many Federation ships and citizens could safely take refuge. Quadrilateral is scheduled to begin on Friday, August 12 at noon ET (16:00 UTC).

Undertake challenging away team missions and unlock the clues to building a stable wormhole - and keep an eye out for what might be waiting on the other side! Remember, Expedition Events replace “tired” with the “exhaustion” trait, and you’ll need to work hard to ensure you have the right crew in place to complete all levels of difficulty for the event.

Join us on Friday, August 12 at noon ET (16:00 UTC) on our Facebook Page where Executive Producer Rich Gallup will demo the first mission attempt.  The event crew is Captain Geordi La Forge and "Rogue" Harry Kim. These versions will receive the highest event bonuses, but all versions of these characters will see reduced exhaustion effects.

Based on some feedback you gave us from the last Expedition Event, in Quadrilateral we’ve made some changes to the gameplay as follows:

  1. The event duration is shorter, lasting three days instead of four.
  2. Each ticket buys one hour of unlimited attempts instead of two hours.
  3. You will be awarded three tickets daily with the ability to purchase more.
  4. Higher level and critical success rewards are more valuable.
  5. The exhaustion penalty for failing a node is more substantial.

As always, we value your feedback and will continue working to make sure our events are the most entertaining, innovative, and challenging events in the galaxy.

Also remember that no events are mandatory: If Expedition Events are your favorite, that’s great. If they are not your cup of tea, that’s great, too! The rest of the game continues during events, and no player is required to participate.

Also, we are thrilled to share our newest video, which debuted at Star Trek Las Vegas last week! The video examines our vision of STAR TREK TIMELINES in the coming months and takes a look at the 50 year legacy of Star Trek™. While at the show our developers and CEO participated in two panels, including one hosted by John de Lancie! We were able to meet so many fans and had a wonderful experience.

Speaking of events, we’ll be at Star Trek: Mission New York over Labor Day weekend, with John de Lancie signing in our booth twice! We’ll also have exclusive collectible trading cards with in-game giveaways, in-booth signings, and more. Find us in the gaming zone.

Thanks so much for your support, Captains. Now back to the bridge - your crews need you.
