When I became the Senior Producer on Star Trek Timelines nearly a year ago, I was incredibly excited to be joining such a cool game at such an early time. Like many of you, and like many of my colleagues at Disruptor Beam, I am a lifelong Star Trek fan. As a child of the 1980s, Star Trek: The Next Generation was maybe the first “adult” show I watched. It not only fostered in me a love of space and of science fiction but it also helped shine a light on formative notions I had of justice, of what was achievable with hard work and a great team, and in characters like Deanna Troi-who guided people with deep personal, moral and spiritual quandaries while continuing to grow on her own-I found strong female role models in science and leadership. To this day, I still watch the entire series every two years.
One year ago, Disruptor Beam launched an incredibly ambitious project: STAR TREK TIMELINES. Bringing together ships, heroes, villains, and beloved storylines from all of Star Trek™ history, STAR TREK TIMELINES set out to create the best Star Trek mobile game ever, a goal we strive to reach every day.

As the year comes to a close and we reflect on our fortunes both good and bad, we want to say thank you for your continued support of Game of Thrones Ascent. We love this game and are grateful for all of our players.
Today’s build will be our last of the year, included in this build are some features that we thought deserved a little more in-depth exploration than our build notes normally provide. Enjoy!

The restless spirits have quieted and the Specter Phase has come to an end, so we are proud to announce the winners of the latest AvA competition.
Doctor Noonian Soong ran out of time to perfect his androids; the temporal anomaly crisis has given him a second chance. With the benefit of being able to study Data, Lore, and B4’s development since his death, Doctor Soong has come to a startling conclusion: the physicality of an android is actually a hindrance to the development of an artificial lifeform.
We have some fun Halloween themed Superlatives for you this phase. Written and suggested by one of our beloved forum Gold Cloaks, Freya. The “Specter” AvA phase runs from 11am EDT on Friday, October 28, until 11 am EDT on Tuesday, November 1. We hope you have fun and get more treats than tricks this phase!
With the conclusion of the Solstice Phase phase, the last of the leaves are falling from the trees and we are happy to announce the winners of the latest AvA competition.
We’ve made it to fall, friends, and winter is coming!
In my last post in early September, I reiterated that we really do want to continue providing support for the game, and we’re committed to continuing events and content drops for the foreseeable future. We also want to deliver more meaningful code changes, including bug fixes, quality of life improvements, and additional mobile builds. While I hoped that the addition of the new quest volume would be the first of a series of changes, that plan obviously hasn’t moved along as quickly as we’d wanted.
